Are you a detail-oriented finance professional seeking a flexible, well-balanced role that fits seamlessly around your life?

We are an established Australian restaurant group looking for a sharp, reliable Junior Financial Accountant to join our team on a flexible Part-Time or Casual basis (approx. 20 hours/week).

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable: Managing end-to-end AP, invoice processing, supplier statement reconciliations, and payment runs.
  • Payroll Processing: End-to-end payroll processing for kitchen and floor staff (understanding Restaurant awards/rates, penalty rateion).
  • Financial Support: Assisting with weekly cash flow reporting, bank reconciliations, and general bookkeeping duties.
  • Vendor & Internal Liaison: Communicating warmly and efficiently with suppliers, venue managers, and internal teams.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting (specifically AP and Payroll).
  • Industry Instinct: Prior experience or a strong understanding of the Australian restaurant/hospitality sector (you understand cost of goods, venue operations, and fast turnaround times).
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient with Xero.
  • Mindset: Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and a genuine appreciation for the hospitality culture.

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
