MALE DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER OR REGISTERED NURSE – BALLARAT

Immediate Start | Excellent Pay Rates | Long Shifts Available

Care Affairs Plus is seeking a reliable and compassionate male Disability Support Worker or Registered Nurse to support a participant with a physical disability in Ballarat.

Due to the participant’s personal-care needs and preferences, male applicants with an Australian background are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates must be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly and confidently.

This role involves high-intensity personal care. Comprehensive paid training will be provided until the successful candidate is assessed as competent and confident in all required duties.

Position requirements:

* Fluent spoken and written English

* Strong understanding of Australian culture and communication

* Experience with manual handling and transfers

* Experience using ceiling and mobile/manual hoists

* Basic understanding of bowel care, including enemas and suppositories

* Willingness to undertake training until competency is achieved

* Reliable, respectful and committed to providing person-centred care

* Relevant qualifications and current compliance documents

* Registered Nurses must hold current AHPRA registration

Available shifts:

* Morning shifts

* Evening shifts

* Active overnight shifts

* Long and regular hours available
