Take the Lead as Our Next Chef Manager

Location: Craigieburn, Victoria
Salary: $80,000 per annum + Super
Roster: Monday to Friday | 7:00am-3:00pm

Cater Care Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations at one of our sites in Craigieburn.

This hands-on leadership role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food delivery, compliance with food safety standards, and effective team performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service delivery
  • Oversee budget management, stock ordering, and inventory control
  • Bring creativity to menu planning and recipe development
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
  • Lead, coach, and support the kitchen team while overseeing bulk meal production
Skills and Experiences:
About You

  • Qualified Chef with a relevant trade qualification and a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Proven experience managing commercial kitchens, ideally within hospitality or catering environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and time management skills, with demonstrated kitchen operations experience
  • Proficient in Google Workspace applications, with a current driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Current annual flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain one) and willingness to complete a National Criminal History Check
