Support Worker – Aged Care / NDIS (Immediate Start)

Location: Auburn, NSW
Employment Type: Casual
Start Date: Immediate

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to an aged care client in Auburn. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping people maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with domestic household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and general household duties
  • Supporting the client to establish and maintain a daily routine
  • Providing community access, including transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Encouraging independence while delivering person-centred, respectful care
  • Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation

Essential Requirements

  • Current Australian Driver Licence
  • Own reliable, registered and insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check (preferred or willingness to obtain, if required)
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality support

Desirable

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services, or a related qualification
  • Previous experience in aged care, disability support, home care, or community services
