Care Companion & Lifestyle Assistant Opportunities - Rathdowne Place (Carlton) & The Alba (South Melbourne)

Care Companion:

  • Rathdowne Place, Carlton – Casual Night shift across Monday to Friday
  • The Alba, South Melbourne – Casual across all 3 shifts
  • $37.32 p/hr + super + Casual loading

Lifestyle Assistant:

  • Rathdowne Place, Carlton – Permanent Part Time
  • $36.26 p/hr + super
  • Monday & Wednesday 9am–4pm, Saturday 9:30am–3pm

What You’ll Be Doing

Care Companion:

  • Support residents with daily care and companionship
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and families
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment

Lifestyle Assistant:

  • Deliver and support engaging lifestyle programs and activities
  • Encourage resident participation and wellbeing
  • Assist with care plans, reporting, and new program ideas
  • Communicate with residents, families, and volunteers

About You
  • Care Companion: Certificate III/IV in Individual Support/Disability
  • Lifestyle: Certificate IV in Lifestyle & Leisure advantageous
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • COVID-19 vaccination (minimum 1 dose)
  • 2026 Influenza vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
  • Full working rights (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Musical ability (highly regarded for Lifestyle role!)
