We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Mercer as a Rectification Analyst working in either our Sydney or Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead incident rectification activities including root cause investigation, customer impact assessment, and remediation planning and execution.

  • Collaborate closely with Incident Managers and stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, GSD, Trustee Office, Product, Transformation, and Technology teams to ensure effective incident resolution.

  • Support accurate breach and investigation reporting to regulators and internal stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of preventive measures and enhanced controls to reduce future operational errors.

  • Assist with peer review, coaching, and continuous improvement of rectification processes within the Incidents Team.

What you need to have:

  • Relevant experience in incident management or rectification within a financial services or regulated environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate root causes and assess customer and fund impacts.

  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment focused on compliance and operational risk.
