Casual Container Unloaders — No Experience NeededApex Container Services | Melbourne

Apex Container Services is looking for reliable people to join our container unloading crews at warehouses across Melbourne. No experience is needed we will teach you how to do the job.

You’ll work in a small team unloading shipping containers, moving cartons and stacking goods onto pallets ready for the warehouse team. It’s active, physical work that involves repetitive lifting, bending and being on your feet.

The work includes:

• Unloading cartons and other goods from shipping containers.
• Sorting and stacking products neatly and securely onto pallets.
• Wrapping pallets and keeping the work area tidy.
• Following safe lifting practices and taking care of customers’ goods.

You’ll receive casual hourly pay plus container-based performance bonuses. The bonus rewards the crew for completing unloads efficiently and to a high standard, giving you the opportunity to earn more for a job well done. Working safely and avoiding damage always come first. We’ll explain the rates and bonus arrangements before you start.

We’re looking for people who:

• Turn up on time and communicate reliably.
• Are comfortable with physical work.
• Work well in a team and follow instructions.
• Have a positive attitude and are willing to learn.

Nice to have, but not required: your own car and a current forklift licence. Previous warehouse experience is welcome, but we’re happy to train someone starting out. You’ll need a reliable way to get to your rostered work sites.
