About the role
To provide application support within the application management area of the Information Technology department and more broadly across Housing Choices Australia as appropriate.
The objectives for the Enterprise Applications Support Analyst role are:
To be the first point of contact for Level 1 and 2 support and be responsible for supporting daily operational performance in relation to enterprise-level business application operational matters and assisting business users in their use of the systems
Provide technical assistance for system upgrades, enhancements and customisations
Provide technical assistance for application user security administration
Support applications and digital technology research and developments, including monitoring and research of key trends, to meet the current and future needs of Housing Choices Australia
Key Responsibilities:
Provide system support for all existing on-premises, cloud-based and mobile applications, including but not limited to legacy enterprise solutions such as OneHousing
To be the first point of contact for Level 1 and 2 support and be responsible for supporting daily operational performance in relation to enterprise-level business application operational matters and assisting business users in their use of the systems
Provide second-level application support, including installation of patches and upgrades
Troubleshoot and resolve user IT issues and, if necessary, escalate to appropriate team members
Remain abreast of new and emerging technologies
Assist system owners in developing business cases for relevant information technology projects, for example contract renewal or system refresh
Assist with project delivery where necessary
Assist in project planning and management as required
Provide technical support for business applications projects
Actively contribute to creating a high-performing and collaborative team
Develop solutions and deliver outcomes that reflect HCA's values, priorities and policies
Skills and Experiences:
About you
Selection Attributes
Degree or diploma within an Information Technology discipline
Capacity to support change and innovation and deliver creative and leading-practice solutions
Certification or working knowledge of the ITIL Framework
Specialist experience and knowledge of ICT trends, issues and opportunities, particularly those related to digital, cloud, mobility and online services
In-depth experience in supporting business applications
6+ years of experience working in a multi-application environment
Well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
