Our seasonal Freight Handler team members commence late October and depending on freight volume, assisting us to deliver until the New Year.

Based at our state-of-the-art Brisbane North Parcel Facility on Boronia Road at Brisbane Airport, you'll work alongside a friendly and dedicated team safely in a fast-paced environment. Shift times are either 7.30-2.30pm or 8.30am - 3.30pm.

You’ll be
- Operating load-shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers in coordination with operations staff to transport freight into the facility
- Working with processing equipment and lines
- Manually loading and unloading freight of all different shapes and sizes from trucks and on/off conveyor belts
- Sorting freight, both manually and with machine assistance
- Using scanning devices to keep freight moving accurately through the network
About you
- Enjoy hands-on, physical work and can lift items up to 30kgs
- Have a strong attention to detail and can work accurately in a busy environment
- You put safety first while operating equipment like conveyors and loading/lifting devices, including pallet jacks, for loading and unloading freight from trucks and vans and on/off conveyor belts
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment where compliance checks are part of the routine
- You're comfortable handling parcels which may contain meat and/or alcohol products
