Casual Medical Driver
This is an Aboriginal Designated Position, classified under 'special measures' of Section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010. Only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are eligible to apply.

Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-Operative (RAC) is a recognised leaderamong Aboriginal community-controlled organisations. Since 1980, we have proudly provided holistic, culturally safe services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the Goulburn Valley.

About the Role
The role of the Medical Drivers is to take patients to and from their home to the clinic and hospital appointments.
Hours/Days of Work:
This is a casual position with variable hours based on operational requirements. Shifts are offered as needed, primarily on weekdays, with occasional after-hours and weekend work.
About You
Qualifications and Registrations:
- Full and unconditional Victorian drivers’ licence
- A current First Aid/CPR certificate or be willing to be certified at Rumbalara’s expense
Knowledge and skills:
- Safe driving in compliance with Victorian Road Rules and Legislation
- Knowledge of the local area
- Ability to use a GPS system in order to locate health facilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
