Within Transdev Sydney, our Performance team plays a critical role in monitoring, analysing and improving network performance — ensuring we meet contractual obligations, deliver for our customers, and continuously improve how we operate.

Your Impact

As a Performance Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our performance function — supporting the analysis of network performance and ensuring accurate, timely reporting across the business.

You will transform data into meaningful insights, helping stakeholders understand trends, manage risks, and identify opportunities to improve operational outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and performance improvement opportunities
• Deliver accurate reporting across daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance cycles
• Develop data visualisations and dashboards to communicate key performance insights
• Support incident reporting and attribution processes, ensuring data accuracy and reconciliation
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis to support business decisions and operational challenges
• Track actions and support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to gather data and deliver reporting outcomes

What You Bring

Experience & Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications, at Degree level or higher in Data Analysis, Transport, Engineering, Mathematics or related field and/or relevant work experience.
• Experience (or strong interest) in data analysis, business analytics, or performance reporting
• Exposure to working with multiple data sources and reporting against defined targets (desirable)
• Experience working with stakeholders to deliver reporting within deadlines (desirable)

Skills & Attributes

• Strong analytical mindset with an eye for detail and data quality
• Proficiency in Excel and exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
• Investigative, proactive problem‑solver
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships across teams
