A day in the life at Max Brenner:

• Cleaning and clearing of tables to ensure a clean café environment
• Clear, wash and pack away dishes and kitchen equipment
• Ensure all Food Safety requirements are followed
• Assist in food preparation for front of house
• Rotate stock utilising use by dates and stock rotation (FIFO)
• Accepting deliveries and organising stock areas in the back room
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles

About You:

• Previous experience in a Kitchen Hand or similar Back of House position is essential
• Availability to work evening shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00pm to 11:30pm
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
• Energetic, positive and guest focused individual with a can-do attitude
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
• Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
• Able to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends

Please note that the hourly rate of pay for this role will be dictated by the Restaurant Industry Award.
