Food Preparation Worker/All Rounder

Location: Adelaide Airport area, SA
Job Type: Part-time
Days: Monday–Thursday
Start Time: 6:30am

About the role

We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker/All Rounder to join our busy café located just outside Adelaide Airport.

This is a regular weekday position, working Monday to Thursday with a 6:30am start essential. The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is organised, and takes pride in maintaining high food and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparing ingredients and café food items
  • Preparing sandwiches, salads and other food
  • Setting up Sandwich Bar
  • Customer Service
  • Assisting with general kitchen duties
  • Washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen
  • Cleaning and sanitising food preparation areas
  • Stock preparation and basic kitchen organisation
  • Assisting the kitchen team during busy periods
  • Following food safety and hygiene procedures

About you

The successful applicant will be:

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable working in a busy café environment
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Well organised and able to follow instructions
  • Committed to maintaining good food hygiene and cleanliness
  • Available Monday to Thursday from 6:30am

Previous café, kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right person.
