About VanDough Bakery

VanDough Bakery Victoria Point is looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Full-Time Bakery Team Member to join our team.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and is willing to contribute to a positive, supportive and professional team.

This is an opportunity to become part of our bakery team and develop your skills across customer service, coffee preparation and daily bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your role and experience, your responsibilities may include:

* Welcoming customers and providing friendly, efficient service.
* Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system and processing customer payments.
* Preparing coffee and other beverages, where required.
* Packing, presenting and displaying bakery products.
* Preparing food and assisting with daily bakery operations.
* Restocking products, ingredients and supplies.
* Maintaining a clean, hygienic and organised workplace.
* Following food safety, workplace health and safety procedures.
* Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

* Be reliable, punctual, responsible and professional.
* Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
* Enjoy interacting with customers and working as part of a team.
* Be able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
* Be flexible and available to work across any day of the week, including weekdays, weekends, early mornings and public holidays, according to the roster.
* Be willing to learn new skills and assist with different tasks as required.

Previous experience in a bakery, café, hospitality or retail environment is preferred but not essential for all duties, as training can be provided.

Applicants applying for coffee-focused duties should have previous barista or coffee-making experience.

Employment Details

* Full-time position.
* Work location: VanDough Bakery, Victoria Point, Queensland.
* Hourly pay based on the position, relevant experience, applicable award classification and employment conditions.
* Roster flexibility is essential, including availability across weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

Pay: $26.44 – $35.00 per hour
