Barista / Café Allrounder – Fun Family Venue (Free Meals + Flexible Hours)

Little Village Play is looking for energetic and passionate Baristas and Café Allrounders (aged 16+) who love coffee, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fun, family-focused environment.

We're looking for someone who enjoys staying busy, notices what needs doing, and takes pride in keeping our venue spotless while creating a great experience for families.

This isn’t just a café job, it’s about creating memorable experiences for families. If you can craft great coffee, assist with food preparation, and bring positive energy to every shift, we’d love to meet you.

- Your Role:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee on a commercial machine
  • Maintain consistency, speed, and presentation during busy service
  • Deliver warm, friendly, and engaging customer service (especially with families & kids)
  • Assist with food preparation and counter service
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and maintaining a high standard of presentation
  • Work as part of a fun, fast-paced team environment

- What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for coffee and café culture
  • Experience using a commercial coffee machine (preferred)
  • Confident, friendly, and great with people
  • Comfortable working in a busy, family-oriented environment
  • Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player

- Availability:

  • Must be available on weekdays / weekends and school holidays
  • Flexible rotating roster
