Cafe All-Rounder – Permanent Part-Time

Location: Windsor
Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time (20–35 hours per week, including weekends)

Reports to: Cafe Manager / Owner

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and friendly Cafe All-Rounder to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

This role offers stable hours of 20–35 hours per week, with shifts generally scheduled between 6:30am and 4:00pm. You’ll be part of a friendly, fast-paced café environment and have the opportunity to work across customer service, coffee making, food preparation, cleaning, and general café operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve customers in a warm and professional manner
  • Take dine-in and takeaway orders efficiently
  • Prepare quality coffee and other beverages
  • Operate the POS system and process customer payments
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Clear tables, wash dishes, clean work areas, and restock supplies
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and OH&S procedures
  • Assist with opening and closing duties when required
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Provide excellent customer service during busy periods

About You

  • Previous café or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Barista experience or willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Positive attitude and friendly personality
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Flexible availability, particularly on weekends and during peak periods
  • Commitment to a consistent 20–35 hour per week permanent part-time schedule
