About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Barista to join our restaurant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality coffee and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages to a consistent standard
  • Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and coffee equipment
  • Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service
  • Take customer orders and process transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented coffee station
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking as required
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
  • Work effectively as part of a fast-paced restaurant team

About you:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Previous barista experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of espresso coffee preparation and milk texturing
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A positive attitude
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fast learner
