About Us:

About the Role:

We are currently seeking qualified Care Workers who are passionate about helping others and committed to delivering excellent care. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the independence and wellbeing of participants in the aged care sector. This casual position requires a compassionate individual who can adapt to varied working hours and will play a key role in supporting our participants by providing personal care, companionship and daily living support, helping them feel safe, comfortable and valued in their own homes. Your contributions will significantly enhance the quality of life for our participants, making a meaningful difference in their daily experiences.

Retired nurses or experienced carers who have never stopped caring are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, dressing, grooming and mobility support.
  • Meal preparation and assistance with nutrition.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and wellbeing in the community through social engaging activities and companionship.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel including our Care Partners.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients and their families.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Relevant qualification in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, or a related field (e.g., Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or Aged Care).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Current Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience supporting client independence, wellbeing, and daily living.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous experience in the aged care sector highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and patience.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during shifts.
