Where you'll be working
Carer Support Office at Hornsby Kuring-gai Hospital

What you'll be doing
Provide support, guidance and education to unpaid carers of family members and/or friends. This may include caring for loved ones who have a disability, medical condition, mental illness, terminal illness or are frail.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in health/welfare.
  • Demonstrated experience in recognition, support and promotion of a minority group within the context of the health system.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal; customer service and interpersonal skills.
