Full job description
We are looking for energetic, reliable, customer-focused casual staff to join our team at our new Italian-style restaurant opening in November. Part- time and/or full-time staff opportunities will become available in the future.
Your day to day duties will be:
- greet guests warmly and guide them through our menu and specials
- Take food and drink orders accurately using our POS system
- Preparation of food
- Deliver food and drinks with a friendly, positive attitude
- Clear, wipe down, and reset tables quickly during peak service
- Handle cash and card transactions smoothly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining room
What we are looking for:
- Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced cafe, bar, or restaurant is a big plus although a great attitude matters as training will be provided
- A valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate for Victoria is a definite requirement
- Availabilty: Flexibility to work days or evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Vibe: a team player who communicates well, stays calm under pressure, and loves making people feel at home
