You will greet and assist students onsite, participate in orientation activities, and provide ongoing education support and pastoral care throughout their learning journey. Your responsibilities include helping students navigate technology, access resources, and progress in their studies, all while fostering an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere.

About You
You are an approachable and empathetic individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds. Patience and a genuine commitment to student success are essential, along with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. You have experience providing support in dynamic environments, adapting quickly and responding to changing needs. You are proficient using a range of technology and can confidently support students with Microsoft Office and other programs, demonstrating capability to troubleshoot and learn new tools as needed.
To be successful in this role, you must hold a vocational qualification at Certificate III level or higher in any discipline, demonstrating that you’ve successfully navigated the adult or tertiary education process yourself. Your adaptability, initiative, and ability to motivate and encourage learners will make you an invaluable part of the TAFE NSW team.
