Sydney VIP Boat Charters is looking for casual yacht stewardesses and stewards to join our friendly, professional team aboard our busy yachts SEADUCTION and PROMETHEUS.
Our boats are premium, our private and corporate clientele value great service, and Sydney Harbour makes a wonderful backdrop to your working day. We take pride in looking after our guests while keeping the team approachable and welcoming.
FLEXIBLE WORK THAT FITS AROUND YOU
We have shifts during the week and on weekends. Already have another job? That's fine. We welcome people who can pick up occasional shifts as well as those with more availability. Tell us what works for you.
This is an ongoing casual opportunity, with immediate starts available for suitable applicants and a competitive hourly rate. A four-hour charter typically means a minimum six-hour shift, including preparation and cleaning. Crew report to our head office in Pyrmont.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare and present the yacht before guests arrive.
- Welcome guests and help them settle aboard.
- Serve drinks, food and catering during the charter.
- Clear glasses and plates and keep guest areas tidy.
- Clean and reset the vessel after the charter.
- Assist the skipper with basic safety procedures as directed.
Some charters are relaxed family or corporate occasions; others are lively celebrations. You'll work closely with the skipper and a small team to help guests feel comfortable and well looked after.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Basic hospitality experience is enough - yacht experience isn't essential, and training is provided. We're looking for friendly, reliable people with a professional manner who are comfortable talking to guests and happy to get involved. A current NSW RSA is preferred when applying.
