Case Practice Support Practitioners (CPP2) are integral to child protection and involves case support tasks, such as facilitating contact visits, transporting children to services and other case support duties such as:
- observing and assessing the interactions between children and family members
- providing reports to child protection case managers to assess and plan for the child's best interests.
The transportation of children is a requirement of this role. As such, you will have a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for extended periods of time. There may be the requirement to work overnight and travel in evenings and early mornings. On occasions, additional hours may be required to ensure the wellbeing of children. You must be comfortable lifting moderate weights such as car seats and children.
You will possess an understanding of Aboriginal culture and demonstrate an understanding of the legislative, policy and practice requirements relating to Aboriginal children, families, and communities, including the Aboriginal Child Placement Principle and the programs and initiatives that support its implementation in Child Protection practice.

- West Division: Warrnambool, Portland, Hamilton, Horsham
Employment Status: Ongoing & Fixed Term vacancies. Full-time (76 hours per fortnight) / Part-Time and job share options may be available that meet programs needs during peak periods between 7am to 7pm
Salary Range: $64,624 - $79,753 per annum, plus superannuation

If shortlisted, you will be invited to attend a virtual assessment centre where you will complete two assessments being a group activity and a written case study. The written case study has specifically been designed with the CPP2 capabilities in mind and discusses a scenario you might face in this role.
The assessment centres will take place virtually on the online TopScore platform.
