Disability Support Worker (Male) – Pagewood (SIL)

Quality Health Care (QHC) is seeking a dedicated male Disability Support Worker to join our team supporting a young man in his 20s living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation in Pagewood.

He is sociable, enjoys music, and loves spending time outdoors. This is a 1:1 support role suited to someone who is reliable, compassionate, and confident in supporting individuals with Autism and behaviours of concern. You’ll be joining a well-established, supportive team and play a key role in helping him work towards his goals and live as independently as possible within the community.

Your Role:

  • Assist with all activities of daily living
  • Support community access, outings, and meaningful activities
  • Provide structure and consistency to support routines
  • Implement behaviour support strategies in line with the Behaviour Support Plan
  • Promote independence, choice, and positive outcomes in a safe and supportive environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Male support worker (role requirement)
  • Experience supporting individuals with Autism and mental health needs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage challenging behaviours and follow Behaviour Support Plans
  • Full, unrestricted Driver’s Licence (essential for community access)
  • A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach with a strong focus on wellbeing
