About the opportunity

• To provide counselling to patients and their families concerned about genetic conditions.
• Support for and co-ordination of referrals where necessary for women with diagnosed genetic and fetal anomalies according to protocols.
• The genetic counsellor will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and work closely with other counsellors and medical geneticists.

• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
