Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
A competent level of knowledge, expertise and skill in Transfusion laboratory testing. Recent experience in a hospital transfusion laboratory is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to participate in a rotating roster which may include shifts outside of routine business hours.
Effective time management skills, attention to detail and ability to focus in a highly process driven environment with competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, client focus and ability to communicate effectively.
Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to comply with organisational policies and procedures, and assist the laboratory to comply with all relevant legislative, administrative, and professional standards including meeting NATA / ISO / TGA accreditation / certification requirements.
