Community Rehabilitation & Support Worker jobs

Are you passionate about supporting older people in your community? We are currently seeking caring and reliable Community Social Support Workers to join our team in Mortdale, Sydney.

This rewarding role involves assisting aged care clients to remain active, connected, and independent through support with community access, social outings, shopping, appointments, and recreational activities.

About the Role

As a Community Social Support Worker, you will play an important role in enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life of older people living in the community. You will provide practical assistance and social support, helping clients maintain their independence and stay engaged with their local community.

About You

You:

• Have a genuine interest in supporting older people
• Are reliable, caring, and respectful
• Good computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams) and maintain accurate records.
• Hold a driver's license and have access to a fully insured reliable vehicle
• Are willing to complete any required checks
• A Certificate 3 or above in either Aged Care, Disability or Community Services.
