About the Opportunity

As a Chef, you will provide quality food services to residents and provide kitchen and food preparation support to our Head Chef.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Taking direction from the Head Chef
  • Ensure delicious, well-balanced and nutritional meals are planned, prepared and presented to meet the needs of our residents
  • Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties and stock control
  • Purchase and order stock and equipment
  • Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislation

About You

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care/healthcare
  • Bulk cooking experience highly desirable
  • Experience with texture modified food advantageous
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and co-workers

Please Note: Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Check
