Description & Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent or Construction Manager to join our Engineering Construction division, supporting our Perth-based Pre-Contracts and Estimating team on major construction projects.

In this role, you will provide constructability input, planning expertise and execution strategy insights during tender development, ensuring our bids are competitive, achievable and aligned with project requirements. You will work closely with Estimators, Project Engineers, and senior leaders to translate on-site execution knowledge into robust methodologies and accurate bid assumptions.

This position is based full-time in our Perth office with site visits as required. It is well suited to candidates with extensive site-based delivery experience who are looking to transition into a pre-contracts, office-based role while still leveraging their technical and execution expertise.

Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include:

  • Perth based in our Victoria Park office, with access to public transport.
  • An opportunity to work with a tier 1 contractor in the resources industry.
  • Internal transfer and secondment opportunities within the business.
  • Discounted hotels, health care and more

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide constructability reviews, sequence planning input and execution methodologies for major SMP and multidiscipline tenders.
  • Work closely with Estimating to validate labour, equipment and duration assumptions for bid preparation.
  • Support development of project execution plans, schedules and logistics strategies.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities and contribute to mitigation strategies within bid submissions.
  • Assist with subcontractor and vendor engagement as part of the tender process.
  • Provide guidance on labour planning, resourcing requirements and site mobilisation strategies.
  • Build strong working relationships across Estimating, Engineering, Commercial and Project Delivery teams.

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager in SMP or multidiscipline construction environments.
  • Strong understanding of field execution, workforce planning, site logistics and productivity drivers.
  • Experience on major resources or Oil & Gas construction projects.
  • Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with schedules or planning tools advantageous.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced pre-contracts environment.
  • Full Australian working rights.
