Hobart Private Hospital is seeking registered nurses to join our Surgical Ward to help shape not only what high quality patient care looks like on our ward, but also what a rewarding nursing career looks like for our more junior nurses. We are a 39-bed general surgical ward with a range of specialities including orthopaedics, urology, bariatric, gynaecology and plastics. We are looking for team members who can work a variety of shifts on a rotating roster of early, late and night shifts.

• Provide evidence-based care for surgical patients post op
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety

Essential Criteria:

• Current Registration with AHPRA
• Working with Children check
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
• Works well independently and within a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
