Graduate Business Intelligence Developer
- Location: Williamstown (hybrid work from home role)
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
- Salary: Up to $70k pa + Superannuation + Salary Packaging
About the Role:
We are seeking a Graduate Business Intelligence Developer to join the Business Intelligence team within Western Health. The team is responsible for the end-to-end development, delivery, and maintenance of reports and dashboards to support both the Clinical and Corporate functions of the organisation. Drawing from a wide range of source systems the development work primarily involves utilising the Microsoft Business Intelligence tools including Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI to deliver the right information, to the right people, at the right time – and in the format they require.
This Graduate position provides an opportunity to develop both professional and technical skills within a supportive and collaborative health service environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals who are committed to your learning, development, ongoing career growth and progression to a full Business Intelligence Developer role.
What you will experience as a Graduate Business Intelligence Developer:
- Opportunity to work within an established high-performing multidisciplinary team of data specialists including Power BI Developers and Database Engineers.

Western Health offers 5 weeks’ of annual leave per year and monthly Accrued Days Off (ADOs).
The role is based at Williamstown Hospital, but travel to other sites from time to time is required.
The role is suitable for a hybrid arrangement with the option to work from home on designated days.
About You:
- Recent graduate or final-year student in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Health Informatics, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of databases, data structures, and the principles of data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Basic experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualisation tools.
- Ability to manage time effectively and contribute to multiple tasks and projects under supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality data outputs.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for participating in a structured graduate program and taking advantage of professional development opportunities.
