David Jones is looking for a curious, commercially minded Digital Analyst to join our Omnichannel team.

Reporting to the General Manager, Product, you will help us better understand how customers engage with our website and apps, turning complex digital data into clear insights that improve customer experiences, unlock growth opportunities and support stronger commercial outcomes.

Working across Product, Digital Trading, Marketing, Customer Experience and Technology, you will become a trusted analytics partner to the business. From developing dashboards and measurement frameworks to strengthening our digital tracking and tag management capability, your work will help teams make better, faster and more customer-focused decisions.

• Analyse customer behaviour and digital performance
• Build trusted dashboards and performance reporting
• Translate complex data into clear commercial recommendations
• Measure the impact of product features, campaigns and initiatives
• Support digital tracking, tag management and data quality
• Champion data-driven decision-making across the business

What are we looking for?

You are naturally curious and enjoy getting beneath the numbers to understand what customers are doing, why performance is changing and where the next opportunity may be.

You will bring:

• Experience in Digital Analytics, Business Analytics, eCommerce Analytics or a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4.
• Experience using Snowflake for analysis, reporting and dashboard development.
• Experience building reporting solutions using platforms such as Sigma, Snowflake or Looker Studio.
• An understanding of digital tracking, Google Tag Manager and data layer structures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• The ability to turn complex information into clear, commercially relevant recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• An understanding of customer behaviour, digital journeys and commercial performance.
• The confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decisions through evidence.

Experience within retail, eCommerce or an omnichannel organisation will be highly regarded, particularly if you understand the connection between online customer behaviour and store performance.

Experience partnering with Product, Digital Trading or Marketing teams, together with knowledge of conversion optimisation and digital trading metrics, will also help you succeed.

A tertiary qualification in Digital, Data, Technology or a related discipline is preferred, but not essential.
