Ready Enable-Disability & Mental Health Support is a Sydney-based disability service provider that delivers home and community care under the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The organization focuses on helping individuals live independently through person-centered, flexible, and inclusive supports tailored to physical, mental health, and social needs.

A Disability Support Worker helps people with physical, intellectual, psychosocial, or developmental disabilities live more independently and safely. In Australia, many workers support clients through the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme).

Typical duties include:

Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)

Helping with meal preparation and household tasks

Supporting clients with medication reminders

Taking clients to appointments or community activities

Providing emotional and social support

Helping clients build life skills and independence

Writing daily progress notes and reports

Supporting mobility and transfers if needed

Workplaces can include:

Client homes

Community centres

Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes

Pay: $5,800.00 – $6,700.00 per month
