Delivery Driver jobs in Windsor NSW

looking for a reliable, physically capable driver to collect new and used furniture from locations across Sydney and return it to our warehouse in South Windsor.

This is a hands-on, independent position. You will generally complete collections on your own using our company vehicle and moving equipment. Applicants must be confident safely lifting, manoeuvring and loading furniture without relying on a second worker for standard collections.

The initial roster is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with shifts beginning at approximately 9:00 am. Longer shifts may be required depending on the collection schedule ,

First few shifts will be a 4hr paid trail.

The full shifts are 10-12hrs

This is a a casual roll with potential to be part time or full time .

KPI incentive bonuses included

Duties include:

• Driving the company vehicle to scheduled collection locations
• Checking furniture before collection and reporting any damage or concerns
• Safely lifting, moving and loading furniture
• Dismantling basic furniture when required for transport
• Securing furniture correctly inside the vehicle
• Returning items to the South Windsor warehouse
• Unloading furniture into the designated staging area
• Following the daily collection schedule and providing progress updates
• Keeping the vehicle and equipment clean and organised

To be suitable for this role, you must:

• Hold a current Australian driver’s licence suitable for the company vehicle
• Be a safe, confident and reliable driver
• Be physically fit and capable of handling furniture independently
• Have experience driving a van or similar vehicle
• Be punctual and able to follow instructions
• Take care when handling furniture and customers’ property
• Be comfortable travelling throughout Sydney
• Be available to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
• Have a reliable way of getting to and from our South Windsor warehouse

Furniture-removal, delivery-driver or warehouse experience is preferred, but reliability, practical ability and a strong work ethic are most important.

This is a casual employee position with wages, superannuation and applicable weekend and overtime rates paid in accordance with the relevant award.
