Full job description

We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be essential to our operations, acting as both a driver and a customer service representative. You will travel within a 5-hour radius of Adelaide, offering variety and new challenges every day.

Key Duties:

  • Perform daily safety checks and vehicle inspections.
  • Drive safely to ensure secure transportation of goods.
  • Deliver and pick up goods accurately and on time.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Ensure paperwork for deliveries and pickups is completed correctly.
  • Work with the supervisor to plan logistics and obtain necessary transport documents.
  • Provide valuable feedback on customer experiences, acting as the eyes and ears of the company.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum MR license (articulated preferred).
  • Forklift license.
  • Experience with strapping and handling awkward loads.
  • Knowledge of Adelaide Metro and South Australian country areas.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Working Hours

  • Monday – Thursday: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Friday: 6:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • Occasional overtime may be required depending on customer needs.

Pay rate: $30/hour plus overtime and a focus bonus of $20 per day.

Location: St Marys, SA 5042

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
