Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Coordinate and run customer demonstrations, clinics and product optimisation days
  • Assist in start-ups and optimisation's of selected new machinery and solutions with the aim of training service, TECSight and sales staff at each location
  • Ensuring quality machine data capture, proper machine set-up and proper delivery of third-party’s recommendations.
  • Providing feedback on quality control procedures for pre-delivery work across the group
  • Participates in dealership promotions events, field days and clinics
  • Maintain current production practices, latest trends, changes in regulations and product knowledge of all equipment, parts and services available to customers
  • Create solutions to optimise machine performance based on customer requirements
  • Offer Tier 2 technical assistance for our internal service teams.

About You:

The successful applicant should possess the following attributes:

  • Experience as a John Deere Technician, Agronomist and / or background in Precision Ag
  • Experience / background in construction / forestry equipment (desirable
  • Strong coaching, training and mentoring skills
  • Strong communication skills with a customer focused attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills while demonstrating a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Sales software tools
