DESCRIPTION

An exciting new role has become available for a Process Improvement Coordinator to join the ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems) team. Reporting to the Regional ACES Manager, you will drive process excellence within our Amazon Last Mile Delivery business.

You will contribute to coordinate the changes across all Delivery Station operations, providing teams with alignment and knowledge before change is approved. This role will also be monitoring the adoption of changes after implementation.

This is a highly collaborative role where you will work to solve complex problems with simple and practical solutions by developing a deep knowledge of the operation processes. You will creating effective communication plans to provide visibility to all impacted teams to enable overall process alignment.

Please note this role will be based in a delivery station (Sydney, NSW) and will own transport to the delivery station and it will require travel within NSW. You will need to be comfortable working across non-traditional shift patterns which include nights and weekends.

Key job responsibilities
The Change Management Coordinator will be responsible for:

Processing Change Request Intake and planning requests in Sprint Cycles

Communicating with project owners and engaging with various stakeholder teams, ensuring positive and effective collaboration between teams

End-to-end coordination of change development and implementation by aligning content and deployment readiness

Implementation of small changes in training content

Supporting Operations/customers with up-to-date information on the change pipeline

A day in the life
8am Start of the day
Arrive at the Delivery Station during the critical morning load-out period
Review overnight operations reports and any immediate process concerns
Check for urgent change requests that need immediate attention
10 Morning: Core Work Block 1 (Workflows)
Process new change requests in the system
Update Sprint planning board
Prepare for daily stakeholder meetings
Review and validate training content updates
12n Midday: Stakeholder Management
Host daily stand-up with project owners
meetings with regional teams
Follow up on pending approvals and feedbacks
Document meeting outcomes and action items
2pm Afternoon: Core Work Block 2 (Comms)
Work on change implementation plans
Update communication materials
Review metrics for recently implemented changes
Coordinate with training team on content updates
3pm End of the day
Floor walks to gather feedback on recent changes
Meet with area managers to discuss process adoption
Collect real-time data on process performance
Document observations and improvement opportunities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in logistics
  • Experience with data analysis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant understanding of operational processes and experience with standard work
  • Relevant experience using data analysis to generate and explain metrics
