South Metropolitan Health Service is actively looking for an experienced Training Coordinator Disaster Preparedness and Management to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development, implementation and evaluation of disaster preparedness and business continuity exercises, and development of an exercise framework across the South Metropolitan Health Service. This will include travelling to different SMHS sites.
- Coordinates both internal and multi-agency exercises and training ensuring alignment with current disaster risk profiles.
- Works under the leadership of the SMHS Area Manager Disaster Preparedness and Management and in collaboration with relevant site Disaster Preparedness Leads (or however titled) and senior clinicians.
- As a key member of the Disaster Preparedness and Management Team, supports a variety of strategic, operational, and service improvement issues in relation to emergency management and business continuity training.
- Assists in uplifting disaster resilience capability through exercising.
