Operations Manager – Part-Time

We are the Australian and New Zealand distributor for the Thumpstar and KOVE motorcycle brands, covering road bikes, dirt bikes, and electric bikes.

We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager whose job is to keep the entire business running like a well-built engine. Every part of the operation must work smoothly, people, systems, websites, logistics, and day-to-day processes. If something breaks, goes missing, or slows down, it’s your job to fix it or replace it and keep everything moving.

This is a part-time role based primarily in Bayswater, WA, with occasional support required at our Rockingham workshop, and operational oversight across both Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of operations across Australia and New Zealand

• Keep all systems, workflows, and internal processes running properly and up to date

• Ensure websites are accurate, professional, error-free, and always maintained

• Manage and coordinate teams in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and China

• Assign tasks, follow up deadlines, and ensure work is completed to standard

• Step in and solve problems quickly when something isn’t working

• Arrange backup or replacement staff if someone is unavailable or underperforming

• Oversee logistics, shipping, documentation, and operational workflows

• Support warehouse, workshop, and retail operations when required

• Provide occasional on-site support at the Rockingham location

• Continuously improve systems, structure, and efficiency across the business

About You

• Highly organised and very detail-focused

• Comfortable managing local and remote teams across multiple countries and time zones

• Proactive, reliable, and takes ownership of problems

• Hands-on and practical, not just a desk manager

• Strong understanding of systems, websites, and operational workflows

• Experience in operations, logistics, e-commerce, or distribution preferred

• Motorcycle or powersports industry experience is a strong advantage

Role Details

• Part-time position (hours to be agreed)

• Based in Bayswater, WA

• Responsibility across Australia and New Zealand operations

• Occasional travel to Rockingham

• Opportunity to grow into a larger role over time

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00 – $55.00 per hour
