Join Law Image Melbourne: Now Hiring Document Production Clerk

About the Role

  • Melbourne CBD

The Document Production Clerk produces legal documents, including witness bundles, counsel briefs, court books and appeal books, ensuring all work meets client requirements, court rules and Law Image quality standards.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will operate production equipment, maintain accurate job records, and deliver high-quality work on time. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, effective time management, and a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate advanced printing and scanning equipment to produce high‑quality legal documents, including binding and other finishing tasks.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure all output meets our strict quality standards.
  • Work efficiently within tight court deadlines.
  • Managing deliveries and pickups promptly and professionally, contributing to our strong reputation for outstanding client service. Heavy lifting and trolley work are required.
  • Use innovative legal technology, including Law Image’s proprietary systems, to improve workflow efficiency and productivity.

What Makes You a Perfect Fit:

  • Strong technical ability and confident using Windows, files, folders, PDFs and Microsoft Office
  • Clear, professional communicator, comfortable speaking with clients
  • Detail-oriented, reliable and organised
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and with repetitive, process-based work
  • Heavy lifting and trolley pushing are essential.

Experience: Print room experience is not essential — full training will be provided. We are looking for reliable, careful and practical people who can follow instructions, work accurately and help the team meet urgent deadlines.
