Downer has been awarded a major Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland, delivering services across a national portfolio of commercial offices, retail centres, logistics facilities and land lease communities. This long-term partnership reflects Downer’s strength in managing large, complex portfolios and delivering high quality services at scale.

We currently have an opportunity for Cleaners to join our workforce and play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient management of properties across Stockland’s national portfolio, located at Baldivis Town Centre, Baldivis, WA .

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Perform routine cleaning of facilities, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas
  • Clean and sanitise high-touch areas and replenish supplies as needed
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste in line with safety guidelines
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and report any maintenance issues
  • Follow health and safety procedures while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining a professional approach

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in cleaning roles across commercial, residential, or similar environments
  • Knowledge of safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals (use of polishers, scrubbers and polishers highly desirable)
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety and basic sanitation practices
  • Good time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to follow procedures, communicate effectively, and report issues as required
  • Must have Working with Children’s Check or be willing to obtain
  • Prepared to undertake necessary pre-employment checks which includes National Police Check and medical.
