Delivery Driver – Contract 6 months (Monday to Friday) – Company Van Provided

Parcel Plus is seeking a reliable and hardworking Contract Driver to join our team.

About the Role

This role involves collecting parcels from customers across Sydney metropolitan suburbs, scanning each item at the point of collection, and delivering all collected parcels to the depot. No door to door deliveries.

A company van will be provided for all work duties, including fuel and toll expenses.

This is a 6 months contract position, with hours varying depending on daily workload and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect parcels from assigned customer locations across Sydney metro suburbs
  • Accurately scan parcels at the time of pickup
  • Safely transport and deliver parcels to the depot
  • Maintain professional and courteous customer interactions
  • Complete daily pickup efficiently and safely
  • Follow road safety and company procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Good attention to detail
  • Valid Unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Good knowledge of Sydney metropolitan areas
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle parcels safely and efficiently

Experience

  • Previous courier or delivery driving experience is preferred
  • Full training will also be provided

Requirements

  • Valid Unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Driving Record

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Hours vary depending on daily pickup and operational needs
  • Shifts generally fall within daytime hours (Usually 11.00am to 6.00pm)

Pay Rate

  • Contract position
  • $33.00 per hour during initial 3-month period
  • $35.50 per hour after 3 months (subject to performance review)
