Downer has been awarded a major Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland, delivering services across a national portfolio of commercial offices, retail centres, logistics facilities and land lease communities. This long-term partnership reflects Downer’s strength in managing large, complex portfolios and delivering high quality services at scale.

Commencing in August 2026, we currently have an opportunity for Trade Qualified Electrician join our workforce and play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient management of properties across Stockland’s national portfolio, with multiple sites to support across the area.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and fault finding across residential units and common areas
  • Ensure all electrical systems / lighting are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritising urgent issues that impact resident safety or comfort
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise disruptions and hazards
  • Install, test, and maintain lighting, power outlets, safety switches, and other electrical equipment
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant Australian standards and workplace health and safety requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • A Grade Electrician’s Licence (VIC) issued by Energy Safe Victoria
  • Trade qualification: Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent)
  • Construction White Card / CPR / LVR Certification / Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, compliance, and WHS requirements
  • Good time management, problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Prepared to undertake necessary pre-employment checks including National Police Check and medical
  • Working with children’s Check - mandatory
