The Team & Role

The Emergency Response team provides a critical 24/7 service, maintaining an essential link between clients, emergency services and nominated contacts to support client safety. As an Emergency Response Operator, you will respond to medical emergency alarms in a timely and efficient manner, assess situations, gather accurate information and coordinate appropriate responses, including escalation to emergency services when required. The role involves conducting welfare checks, performing routine alarm testing and client contact activities, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, completing administrative tasks and providing surge support during high-demand periods. Working across multiple systems and communication platforms, you will deliver professional, calm and compassionate service while demonstrating clear and effective communication, critical thinking and problem solving, emotional intelligence, organisation skills, teamwork, consumer service, continuous learning and a commitment to quality, safety, risk management and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing demands
Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
Demonstrated accuracy and speed in data entry (including touch typing)
Completion of NDIS Worker Screening and First Aid certification
Experience in a call centre environment (desirable)
