Full job description

BLD Engineers is seeking High Voltage Electrical Engineers for opportunities across Australia. We are looking to connect with talented electrical engineers with experience across transmission, distribution and renewable energy projects, particularly those with expertise in primary and/or secondary systems.

These opportunities are suited to engineers who enjoy technically challenging environments, collaborative problem-solving and working on complex energy infrastructure projects.

About the Opportunity

  • Projects may cover the full project lifecycle.
  • The projects span areas including renewable energy, transmission networks, substations and emerging energy technologies.
  • You will have the opportunity to work within multidisciplinary teams on significant infrastructure projects, contributing to technically complex solutions and high-quality project outcomes.

Are you the right fit? We are interested in engineers with:

  • Extensive experience in High Voltage
  • Electrical Engineering, particularly within transmission, distribution, renewable energy, substations and/or energy infrastructure.
  • Experience with HV primary and/or secondary systems, including design development, technical assessments and engineering documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and the ability to apply them pragmatically to complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams and contribute to integrated project outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience preparing technical reports, engaging with clients and contributing across different stages of the project lifecycle.
  • A strong interest in contributing to Australia´s energy transition and future energy infrastructure.
