Job Specific Requirements

As part of our growing construction and maintenance sector we require a High Voltage Substation Electrician.

Essential requirements

  • Queensland Electrical Licence

  • Previous High Voltage Substation Experience

  • Blue/White card

  • Drivers Licence

  • Willing to travel throughout Queensland

Desirable qualification & experience

  • Previous experience with Energex, Powerlink or Ergon Energy

  • Power station experience

  • HV Switching Ticket

  • HV Switchgear and Transformer maintenance experience

  • Experience in panel wiring, fault finding and repair on HV switchgear,

  • Earthing, cable tray, transformer and switchgear installation experience
