Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS) is Victoria’s newest public mental health service dedicated to the care of young people aged 12 to 25 experiencing complex mental health challenges.

We exist to walk alongside young people, their families, carers, supporters and kin delivering care that is accessible, inclusive, developmentally appropriate, evidence-informed, and grounded in lived experience. The Opportunity:
The Facilities and Fleet Officer role sits within the Finance and Facilities division of the service.
The role broadly encompasses facilities and fleet management and associated tasks as well as elements of contract management and procurement.
You will be supporting the Contract and Facilities Manager to meet the needs of a growing service and assist in developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and providers to develop solutions and add value to PYMHWS

About the Role:
The Facilities and Fleet Officer will work closely with the Contracts and Facilities Manager to ensure appropriate access to space and facilities and services are available across PYMHWS sites including but not, limited to car parking, security, space allocation, waste disposal and cleaning, ICT arrangements, HVAC utilities etc.
What You'll Do:
Provide Contract Management Support to the facilities Manager by participating in regular reviews and assist in identifying areas for improvement
Assist in the co-ordination and logistics of pool vehicles across PYMHWS fleet
Assist in preparation of annual maintenance budgeting
Develop relationships with all internal and external stakeholders (e.g. existing suppliers and potential suppliers’ contractors etc.)
Monitor all activities performed under contract comply with scope and WH&S requirements
About You:
The successful candidate would ideally have
Experience in Facilities Management
Good analytical and organisational skills
A proactive approach to problem resolution
Willingness to take on new growth opportunities and adapt to changing priorities in a complex environment.
