About The CareSide

As a family-owned and operated company, The CareSide delivers unparalleled support to home care recipients across Australia. Our mission-driven, entrepreneurial roots have helped us blossom into a national provider, meaning our clients and their families get the best of both worlds: the resources of an established company with the accessibility and authenticity of a local family-run business.

But what sets The CareSide apart?

We’ve developed proprietary software that enables us to operate far more efficiently than other home care service providers. It empowers our team to collaborate and do their jobs more effectively, all while passing substantial savings down to our clients and their families. Our unique blend of talent and technology has driven significant growth since our inception in 2017—and we’re just getting started. If you’re like us and sincerely passionate about providing the highest quality care possible, we’d love to hear from you!

We are looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join our fast-growing team in SA. We offer travel reimbursement and provide all necessary PPE to support your safety and success in the role.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication prompts
  • Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, shopping
  • Offer social support and respite care
  • Transport clients to appointments

Your Background

The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional care. You should possess:

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • National Police Clearance Certificate
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence with registered vehicle and insurance
  • Smartphone
  • Organised, punctual, friendly, and genuinely caring

Our Benefits

  • Purposeful one-on-one client care
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Ongoing support, training, and development
  • Opportunities for career progression within a growing team
  • Travel reimbursement
  • Free uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
