About the role
As Senior Manager, Risk Governance, Systems & Insights, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the risk management landscape at Australian Retirement Trust. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing risk frameworks, systems, and enterprise reporting that support informed decision-making at the highest levels. This role requires deep expertise in governance, policy management, and risk technology, with a focus on delivering timely, high-quality insights to the Executive and Board. You’ll collaborate across all areas of the organisation to ensure governance clarity, policy consistency, and regulatory compliance under APRA’s prudential standards. If you’re passionate about driving strategic risk initiatives and uplifting governance maturity, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of ART’s risk frameworks and governance structures.
- Oversee enterprise risk reporting, delivering actionable insights to the Executive and Board Risk Committee.
- Manage the risk management policy suite, ensuring alignment with regulatory and strategic changes.
- Own the strategic direction and operational management of risk systems and technology platforms.
- Coordinate system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements for robust, user-friendly risk technology.
- Standardise risk reporting templates and uplift reporting quality across risk domains.
- Support regulatory reviews, internal audits, and policy development to meet APRA standards.
- Foster collaboration across the organisation to enhance risk accountability and governance practices.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of risk professionals, driving capability development and continuous improvement.
- Monitor regulatory developments and act as a liaison for governance-related queries from regulators, auditors, and assurance providers.
This role is a permanent opportunity based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne
