DFitzAcademy is an online coaching company helping men over 300 lbs lose 50-100+ lbs, build habits they can actually stick to, and completely change their lives.

We don't believe in crash diets, meal replacements, or six-week transformations. We coach men through sustainable lifestyle change with accountability, simple nutrition, resistance training, daily habits, and consistent support.

We've helped men across the US lose thousands of pounds collectively, improve their health, regain confidence, and become better husbands, fathers, and leaders.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Online Fitness Coach who genuinely cares about changing lives and wants to become part of a high-performing coaching team.

This is a remote position with flexible hours. Coaching responsibilities are spread throughout the week, with client check-ins completed weekly.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing your own roster of online coaching clients through Trainerize
• Onboarding new clients and setting up their nutrition, habits, and training plans
• Daily availability for touchpoints with clients and both proactively messaging clients & responding to clients.
• Weekly check-ins that provide accountability, encouragement, and clear action steps
• Adjusting calories, macros, step goals, cardio, and workouts based on client progress
• Monitoring client adherence (daily) and proactively reaching out when clients arefalling off track
• Answering client messages and proactively messaging clients during active hours
• Active hours are: 4pm EST - 12am EST
• Following DFITZ Academy coaching systems and SOPs to ensure every client receives a world-class experience
• Helping clients build sustainable habits rather than relying on motivation

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping overweight men transform their lives.

The ideal coach will have:

• At least 1 year of online coaching experience
• Experience coaching overweight or obese clients (preferred)
• Strong understanding of fat loss, calorie deficits, macro tracking, habit building, and behaviour change
• Experience using Trainerize (strongly preferred)
• High attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple clients while maintaining a personal coaching experience
• Emotional intelligence - these men have years of bad habits to break (you need to be able to meet people where they're at).
• A genuine passion for helping people become healthier
• Needs to be proficient with technology and managing a roster of clients (50+)

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience coaching men over 250-300 lbs
• Experience working with clients who struggle with emotional eating or consistency
• Have your own personal story that relates
• Nutrition certifications
• Behaviour change coaching experience
• Experience creating resistance training programs for beginners
• Understanding of motivational interviewing or habit-based coaching

This Role Is NOT For You If

• You believe every client needs an aggressive diet
• You cannot be active during hours of 4pm EST - 12am EST
• You wait for clients to ask for help instead of being proactive
• You struggle to follow established systems and processes
• You don't enjoy building relationships with clients
• You're looking for a casual side hustle rather than becoming part of a growing company
• You don't enjoy the job of coaching!

Requirements

• Certified Personal Trainer (or equivalent recognised certification)
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Reliable internet connection
• Laptop or desktop computer
• Experience using Trainerize (preferred)
• Comfortable learning new software and SOPs
• Proficient with technology
