Job Description


Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort
are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

This role is essential in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and the development of the Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will predominantly work evening shifts and must be available to work weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee and ensure smooth, efficient, and professional daily operations of the restaurant & bar.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the property’s food and beverage offerings to promote to guests.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team during service periods to ensure quality service, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise, coach, and train Food & Beverage Attendants, fostering a high-performing team.
  • Manage staff rostering, workflow, and service standards to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with RSA, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and reporting as required.
  • Drive guest satisfaction, service excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Shift Details (subject to change):

  • Split shifts may be required on some days
  • RSA certificate required

Qualifications


Successful candidates will have:

  • 12+ months supervisory or managerial experience in a similar role.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a restaurant or hotel environment.
  • Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
  • Solid understanding of alcohol service (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
  • High level of self-motivation, confidence, and leadership capability.
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
