Benefits for working with Hyatt Include:

  • After 90 days of service, 12 complimentary nights of accommodation globally with Hyatt (T&Cs apply)

  • Discounted accommodation for associates as well as friend and family

  • Rewards and recognition programs

  • Learning and development opportunities

  • Fully laundered uniform

  • Discounted city parking

  • The opportunity to join an international group with endless career opportunities

The Role

As our Social Media & Content Specialist, you will be a creative voice of Hyatt Regency Sydney, developing and curating engaging stories that bring the hotel experience to life. From our signature restaurants and bars to our stunning event spaces and guest experiences, you’ll capture the energy of our property through impactful digital storytelling, visually stunning content and on brand, accurate collateral.

You will also oversee community engagement across all platforms — responding to guest reviews, amplifying user-generated content and nurturing relationships with our online audience, influencers and content creators. Working closely with the Director of Marketing Communications & Marketing Communications Manager, you’ll play a central role in executing marketing activities, producing brand collateral and supporting campaigns that elevate awareness, engagement and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a content strategy that showcases all areas of the hotel - including accommodation, dining, events and guest experiences

  • Plan and manage the content calendar, facilitating and coordinating photoshoots, video production and content rollouts across multiple outlets

  • Create high-quality visual and written content for social media, websites and marketing collateral, ensuring alignment with Hyatt’s brand standards

  • Design and produce digital and printed marketing collateral such as menus, event flyers, hotel signage and promotional material

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Food & Beverage, Events, Sales) to ensure marketing support and visibility across departments

  • Manage social media platforms, including posting content as well as community engagement and influencer partnerships

  • Monitor trends, track performance metrics and generate insights to optimise content and engagement strategies

  • Coordinate updates to hotel and third-party websites, ensuring brand accuracy and promotional consistency

About You:

  • A creative storyteller with a passion for visual content and community engagement

  • Experience in content creation, photography, videography and social media management

  • Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills

  • Strong design sensibility and attention to detail

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Prior marketing or hospitality experience is desirable

  • Valid working rights in Australia and availability to work 38 hours per week
